SA Country Challenge Coaches Announced

This year’s Hockey Australia Country Challenge will be played from 5-12 August in Goulburn, NSW.
Hockey SA is pleased to announce the two coaches taking the helm for our State SA Country teams – PHIL SOUTHERN (Men’s Head Coach) and DAVID GERNER (Women’s Head Coach).
Phil and David both coached our SA Country squads last year in Albany, and after last years’ experience, are keen to implement learnings into this year’s campaign.
Both coaches are passionate about the opportunities the Country Challenge can provide for athlete’s development.
Phil recently returned from Indonesia where he was afforded an opportunity to Assistant Coach the National Country representative team.
