Hockey SA welcomes new Operations Manager

Please join us in welcoming Scott Patching to Hockey SA as Operations Manager.

Scott comes to Hockey SA with broad knowledge and experience in community sport, having worked at the SANFL for close to a decade. He has overseen the growth participation and promotion of Australian Rules Football in both metropolitan and country South Australia. Scott worked to deliver a high calibre competition to over 13,000 participants, 700 teams and 60 clubs.

In Scott’s role as Community Football Operations Manager, he proved himself as a leader of sport administration in Adelaide. In his capacity, Scott looked after 23 league associations while growing game development, overseeing competition management with a focus on governance, policies, and risk management. Born and bred in Mt Gambier, his knowledge both professionally and personally for regional communities and sport will be invaluable.

Scott’s role will be broad and encompass different areas including operations of the State Hockey Centre facility, Game Development (annual roadshow program, coaching & officiating education program, club development, Hookin2Hockey & Indoor Hockey), along with operational support to both our Metropolitan Competition and Regional Associations.
