Collaborating with Hockey Australia, South Australia Sport Institute, clubs and associations within SA, Hockey SA (HSA) strive to continuously evolve our performance pathway programs. These are aimed at assisting athletes, coaches and officials of all ages, cultures and genders, the opportunity to foster, be identified and develop their love of Hockey.
Targeting our best pathway athletes, coaches, and officials, aspiring to represent South Australia at national events or Australia at international events, HSA are providing extensive opportunities, challenging our brightest athletes to become the best Hockey players they can. Athletes will be surrounded with high quality coaching, world class training facilities and connecting to leading peak sport bodies of South Australia.
The pathway focuses on -
- Exposing players with national potential at championships
- Introducing more vigorous identification opportunities
- Expansion of identification camps, including more players and coaches.
- Providing clearer development for coaches and officials
