From 2022, all representative teams shall wear the official Belgravia HSA uniform, while representing South Australia. Uniform costs are in addition to the HSA player invoice.

Players will be required to purchase compulsory uniform items and may choose to purchase any additional items.

Players will be given a sizing kit at the trials, where they will be required to try the uniform on . A digital copy of an order form will be sent out to all registered players to fill in.

Selected players will be emailed with a link to an online portal, where they can order the uniforms.

Allocation of numbers will be done by Hockey SA Staff only. We are NOT taking any requests for playing numbers. This is an ongoing and standard policy for all future state trips.

The following prior team priorities that will be considered are if you were selected in a state team previously from the following year.

Please keep in mind that numbers are allocated on a squad basis only.

Unless, indicated otherwise all representative teams travel and are accommodated under a group arrangement only. This is a non-negotiable element of their management as a touring group.

All athletes and officials involved in a representative state team must travel to and from the National Championship. This includes staying with the team, while at the National Championships and accommodation will be based on a share basis.

All flights and accommodation are booked in advance and are organised through our third-party travel provider.

Details of flights and accommodation will be communicated out to selected players in the form of an itinerary.  When flying the team is guaranteed to depart and arrive, as one unit with seating allocations and luggage checked in as a group.

Yes, you can change your departure flight.

However, any individual requests will not be considered unless HSA has a received a written request. If you would like to make alternate arrangements for returning to Adelaide, you must submit a request within 30 days prior to the travelling date of the tournament. Any changes that incur a fee will be the responsibility of the athlete.

PLEASE NOTE – no adjustments will be made after the deadline. HSA will not enter any negotiations for individual athletes unless there is an exception.

As per Hockey Australia regulations; all players of a team choosing to wear compression garments must be wearing compression garments of the same approved colour (i.e: all players wearing white).

Red undergarments - can be worn, however the whole team has to be in the same colour, not half in red and half in black.

HSA have no issue with parents engaging with their children. However, it must be understood that the coaches and HSA want no interference from parents when it comes to coaching/tactics of the team.

Parents must be positive contributors and lead by example and respect players, coaches, and team managers. At all times conform to accepted standards of good sportsmanship and behaviour. Verbal or physical abuse will not be tolerated.

Rest days it is expected that players will be spending most of their time focused on team activities.
